Bookings lost as holiday firm ceases trading

TEESSIDE Airport and summer holidaymakers have been hit by the closure of Balkan Holidays.
The news, confirmed overnight on April 24/25, has seen all future holidays cancelled, while clients who are currently on holiday are set to be "unaffected". The company apologised for the disappointment and inconvenience the news has caused.
The company, who describes itself as "the trusted travel company since 1966" has said it will work as fast as it can and "prioritise refunds in departure date order." For direct clients who need to contact the company regarding refunds, the email address is listed as refunds@balkanholidays.co.uk.
