A 'spellbinding illuminated world'

MIDDLESBROUGH'S Stewart Park will transform into a "spellbinding illuminated world" as the popular Nightfall event returns.

Thousands are expected to flock to 'after-dark adventure' this weekend.

The full programme has been unveiled and organisers say ticket-holders are in for an 'unmissable night out'.

This year's magical event invites audiences to step into a trail filled with dancing fountains, giant inflatable animals, towering illuminated tulips, immersive light-and-sound installations, a vibrant community garden party, an outdoor silent disco beneath a massive glitterball and more.

The programme showcases new large-scale artworks, playful and fun interactive moments and performances, and multisensory experiences designed to delight all ages. There are also artist-led drop-in workshops for families too.

Earlier time slots are already sold out and limited tickets remain for slots from 7.45pm onwards.

Organisers have said they strongly advise booking soon to avoid disappointment, as the event is expected to sell out. Lyndsey Stephenson, director at Stellar Creates, said: "Nightfall has always been about bringing people together and creating moments that stay with you long after the lights fade.
