Dental crisis raised by MSP in Parliament

South Scotland MSP Colin Smyth has once again demanded answers from Scottish Health Minister Jenni Minto about the ongoing issues with NHS dentistry in Dumfries and Galloway.

The local MSP used a question session in the Scottish Parliament last week to ask the Scottish Government what its response is to reports that nearly 40 percent of adults in Dumfries and Galloway are not registered with a national health service dentist.
Speaking in the chamber, Colin Smyth, said:’The reality is that the registration rate is not just the lowest in the country; it is getting worse.
