Trump's tariff policies isolating America

Because president Donald Trump has capriciously and unilaterally imposed high tariff rates on Chinese goods entering the American economy, Beijing retaliated immediately by imposing much higher tariffs on American goods entering the Chinese markets.

- Atty. Josephus B. Jimenez

And since Trump’s reckless provocation has boomeranged. Did Trump and Elon Musk ever think that Xi Jinping is stupid?

And because Trump has declared a trade war against Canada, its nearest neighbor and most loyal ally Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney, both outgoing and incoming prime ministers have joined forces and retaliated tit for tat. Canada is slowing down in its export of oil and natural gas to America, thus threatening to paralyze American industries. Canada is imposing high fees for every American truck, train, car, and even maritime vessel crossing the border from Washington, passing through Vancouver to Alaska.

The EU too, led by this feisty female leader, Ursula von Der Leyen, has declared that it is meeting Trump’s trade provocation with equal if not superior antagonism. Trump has effectively antagonized America’s formidable allies in Europe, including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, not to mention the U.K.
