As we celebrate Teachers' Day, we remember not only the lessons written on the board but also the kindness, patience, and love our teachers give every day. Behind every subject we study, there are teachers who make tough choices, solve problems, and work together for what is best for us. This story is a simple way of honoring the teachers who showed us that teaching is not just about lessons, but about hearts working as one.

- By Zaida Marie A. Tambis

"I used to think that teachers just stood in front of the class and taught. But I never realized how much they struggled behind the scenes. I can't imagine how many decisions they had to make, and how those choices shaped us, their students," Shane told her classmates at lunch.

Jace nodded in agreement and added, "Do you remember when Shane and I were asked to fetch something from the faculty room as the assigned classroom representatives? We saw how our teachers: Ms. Sharlie, Ms. Vivencia, Ms. Sharon, Ms. Anjaelet, Ms. Amelita, Ms. Janette, and Ms. Adelie were locked in a serious discussion.

"Do we prioritize Math review for the district contest," Ms. Sharlie, our Math teacher, asked firmly, "or should we give more time to the students' research project?"
