I was surprised on Sunday morning that the boxing match between PNP Chief Nicolas Torre and acting Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte pushed through.
The venue was filled with spectators, eagerly cheering on the undercards and the round ladies who were circling the ring at the end of the last second. Then came the main event that led to an undefeated and undisputed win. What was once a remark made in jest during a podcast became a real-life sparring session. Of course, minus the opponent.
