Rikah Alfaro, PR and marketing assistant at Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown, extended an invitation to a special media lunch to celebrate Savoy Hotel's 6th Anniversary – an event aptly themed "6 Hands for 6 Years.
Executive Chef Coke Semblante (Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown), Executive Chef Christian Kit Carpio (Savoy Hotel Manila), and Executive Chef Vincent Yves Cabahug (Savoy Hotel Boracay) collaborated to create a memorable gastronomic fete.
Guests were welcomed with two signature drinks, Manga Alimyon and Lumay and were paired with a trio of appetizers: BBQ Chicken Croquette, golden and crisp with a smoky, tangy finish; Crab Meat Dumpling, steamed and filled with sweet crab meat and roe complemented by black vinegar and ginger; and Bantayan Scallop Rockefeller, where local scallops were enriched with kutitís spinach, herbs, and buttery cheese.
