The fight against breast cancer is getting the support of Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro who stressed Capitol's role in promoting early detection and providing assistance to survivors.

Last Tuesday, September 23, Baricuatro welcomed breast cancer survivors led by Mary Anne Alcordo Solomon, coordinator of ICanServe Foundation Cebu Link, in a courtesy visit at the Capitol The visit was held ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, which seeks to increase awareness and encourage early detection of breast cancer, the leading cancer affecting women worldwide.
"As a woman, I am deeply aware of the dangers of breast cancer and the importance of government programs that ensure early detection, timely treatment, and continued support for patients and survivors," Baricuatro said.
