P100M budget pushed for terminals

The Capitol-run bus terminal administrator is eyeing a P100-million budget for 2026 to improve the operations and facilities of the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) and Cebu North Bus Terminal (CNBT), a significant increase from the P62-million allocation this year.
Ahmed Cuizon, the new administrator of both terminals, said the proposal will be taken up in next week's budget deliberations at the Capitol.
He clarified that the figure is still subject to adjustments depending on recommendations from the Provincial Engineering Office.
"Dili pa ni final kay we agreed on some costly adjustments. So ang proposal is something like close to P100 million for both CSBT and CNBT," Cuizon told reporters.
