Over 100 CH workers honored for dedication to public service

Over a hundred employees of the Cebu City Government—many of them garbage collectors and street cleaners—were recognized during the “Pasidungog sa Kakugi Awards” held at the Sky Hall of SM Seaside City Cebu.
The annual awards ceremony honors the dedication and discipline of city workers who have consistently shown tireless commitment to public service, often without fanfare or recognition.
Of the 111 awardees, 52 came from the Department of Public Services (DPS), the office primarily responsible for garbage collection and street cleaning in the city.
Their recognition underscored the vital role they play in maintaining Cebu City’s cleanliness and livability.
