Modern health care facility at Capitol compound eyed

A modern primary health care facility is set to be constructed by the Cebu Provincial Government within the Capitol Compound, specifically on the site of the old Palace of Justice, next to the Sugbo Wellness Center.

The upcoming primary care facility will provide a comprehensive range of services—such as an information center, various clinics and consultations, hemodialysis, laboratory tests, mammography, ultrasound, dental and eye care, as well as X-ray services—all offered for free under the PhilHealth's Konsulta Program.
“Here in Cebu, we refuse to be dragged down by all the negativity and the noisy social media exercises in futility. We would rather accomplish solid performance for those who need help—the marginalized,” said Governor Gwendolyn Garcia during the announcement last April 8.
“I hope that when I leave office, we shall have impacted more lives and have left them better off,” Garcia added.
