Malaysian coffee chain eyes Vismin expansion

Malaysian coffee chain OldTown White Coffee is expanding in Visayas and Mindanao, opening its first outlet in Zamboanga City on October 3 as part of a wider push to capture the Philippines’ fast-growing coffee retail market.
The Zamboanga store, located on Pasonanca Roadin Tumaga, will be run by local entrepreneurs Pherhan and Jhulie Saiddi in partnership with the Del Mundo Group of Companies, the master franchise holder for OldTown in the Philippines.
The launch brings the total number of OldTown outlets in the country to 11.
