LTO-7: No apprehension yet on unclaimed plates

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 7 has issued a clarification regarding the recent statement of Regional Director Glen G. Galario on the agency's ongoing efforts to release unclaimed license plates in the region.
In an official statement, LTO-7 assured the public that no apprehensions will be conducted at this time for vehicles that have yet to claim their license plates.
"Similarly, no P5,000 fines will be collected from motorists currently using temporary or old plates," part of the statement read.
