The Department of Labor and Employment in Central Visayas (DOLE-7) announced the opening of more than 4,000 job vacancies during the 123rd Labor Day Job Fair to be held at SM Seaside City on May 1, 2025.

From 9 A.M. to 5 P.M., the job fair is expected to draw at least 1,300 pre-registered applicants who will vie for the more than 4,000 local job openings offered by 44 participating employers.
This announcement was made by DOLE-7 regional director Roy Buenafe yesterday who noted that the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry still tops the list in terms of available jobs, followed closely by the retail and service sectors.
The theme of this year's Labor Day celebration is “Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng Mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas.”
DOLE-7 encourages all job seekers to pre-register online to avoid long queues and to receive updates regarding job vacancies ahead of time.
