Guv chooses Bermudez as new CPPO director

Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro has officially chosen, from among three nominees, Police/Colonel Christopher Bermudez to head the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) as its new provincial director.
Baricuatro on Wednesday (August 20) wrote to inform Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) Regional Director P/Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, of her choice and endorsement of Bermudez.
“In view thereof, I inform you that my choice as the provincial director of the CPPO is P/COL. CHRISTOPHER M. BERMUDEZ,” Baricuatro told Maranan in her letter.
Bermudez, in a statement he issued on Friday (August 22), said: “I am deeply honored and grateful to Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro for choosing me among the three recommended officers. This trust is both a privilege and a challenge that I humbly accept with dedication and commitment.”
Bermudez expressed his support and commitment to the governor on his appointment, reaffirming his dedication to resolving crimes across the province.
