With the volume of disheartening news about the state of our environment, one could think that things are going downhill moving on – that the degrading state of our ecology is only going to further degrade with no respite in sight.

But as it turns out, not all news about the environment is bad, and we'll be drawing the spotlight on some of these today. Though some of these do have caveats, here's a roundup of some good, eco news and developments.
