Doc Janos named UV Lancers' sports medicine team physician

Noted Cebuano orthopedic doctor Janos Vizcayno Jr. has been named as Sports Medicine Team Physician of the University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers basketball team.
Doc Janos received his certiciate of appointment from UV Assistant Vice President for Finance and Administration Jose Miguel “J-Mi” Gullas on Tuesday, August 13 in the presence of UV Athletic Director Dr. Chris Mejarito, strength and conditioning coach Roger Justine Potot, and the players.
"Grateful to be part of the UV family," said Vizcayno, who has trained at St. Luke's Medical Center Institute of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine under renowned sports surgeon Dr. Jose Raul Canlas and further sharpened his skills at Tokyo Advance Orthopedics-Sports and Joint Center in Japan.
