My sister residing in the United States recently sent me a message saying that she misses my company, particularly our bonding moments like having dinner, having a massage together, or basically just us spending the afternoon laughing together.
She also posted photos in our family’s group chat in Messenger, mostly those of her and her family, hinting that though she misses me, she is happy with where she is.
In response to what she said, I told her that wherever you are, if your heart is set, that’s where you will be happy. You have to do what invigorates your soul to be truly happy.
I, for example, am very happy and content with where I am now — now more so that I am making use of the talent and gift that God has bestowed upon me - the gift of writing.
This is my passion in life.
