Clearing and recovery operations are in full swing across Cebu as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region VII and the Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV) continue efforts to restore road access and assist communities affected by Typhoon Tino.

At Km 38 of the Cebu-Balamban Transcentral Highway, personnel from the DPWH Cebu 3rd District Engineering Office continue to work, removing debris, clearing obstructions, and reopening routes vital to reconnecting upland communities. As of November 9, 2025, Km 36 of the highway has been made one-lane passable to motorists.

Crews are now advancing toward Km 37 to complete debris removal and cleaning operations, ensuring the full restoration of traffic flow along the mountain route.
