The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) warned the public against “disinformation” in social media posts claiming divisions within the military, political realignments or senior officers backing a political personality.

The AFP said claims of withdrawal of support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and shifting support to Vice President Sara Duterte is “fake news” and “deliberate disinformation.”
