There seems to be no end to the photos and videos online and in the news about what happened during and after Typhoon Tino.

It’s no longer just about flooded and muddied streets and cars stacked like barricades. Now we are seeing videos of people crying as they escape from a house quickly filling with water, of an elderly couple hanging onto the roof of their house while everything is being swept away around them, of a man trying to revive his wife while trapped on a roof, of people crying out for loved ones swept away, of bodies being found and recovered in the debris.
It’s all very heartbreaking.
