The Constitution is perfect but our understanding, implementation isn't

The Constitution of India is a "perfect instrument," and India owes its present form to it, said Senior Advocates Dushyant Dave and KG Raghavan during a brief yet heartening exchange on Tuesday, as they awaited an urgent mention in a petition related to the Muda scam before the Karnataka High Court stated a Bar and Bench report.

While appearing before a bench led by Justice M Nagaprasanna via video conference, Dave noticed Raghavan logged in for the hearing and greeted him on Constitution Day.
Raghavan responded by describing the Constitution as a beautiful and nearly perfect document, though he noted that no instrument could ever be entirely flawless. He added that the Constitution is the "only thing keeping the country going."
