Jobs scam: Charges against Lalu framed

A Delhi court on Friday framed charges against RJD chief and former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the alleged land-for-jobs corruption case being probed by CBI, setting the stage for a fullfledged trial in one of the most politically sensitive scandals linked to railway recruitments.

The court observed there appeared to be an overarching conspiracy in which public employment in the railways was allegedly used as a bargaining tool to acquire immovable properties for Yadav's family members, including his wife, daughters and sons, reported Live Law.
