Family claims cop’s death due to contaminated water, officials deny

The family of a retired head constable from Dhar who died on Sunday claimed that his death was due to drinking contaminated water in Bhagirathpura, but the administration has refuted the allegation and said he died due to other reasons.

CMHO Madhav Hasani said that the deceased head constable was ill from December 28, which was before the outbreak started. Hospital sources said that he died due to multiple-organ failure.
