Test reports help in in-depth analysis of diseases

Dr Harihar Trivedi is a retired professor of Gandhi Medical College. He has experience of more than 50 years. He has seen changes in the medical field and pattern of diagnosis. Earlier, people never suffered much disease like today—even children are developing more diseases. Doctors advise patients for more test reports before prescribing treatment. Medical treatment is totally based on medical reports, CT scan, biopsy etc. Earlier, x-ray was more than sufficient.
Free Press talked to Dr HH Trivedi on various issues Excerpts Q Now-a-days, the entire medical treatment is based on test reports of patients escalating their medical bills. What is your comment on this?
