Kerala eyes benchmark with 20-day SIR

The office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala has announced a plan to conduct the Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls across the state within 20 days.

CEO Dr. Rathan U Kelkar stated that Booth Level Officers have been instructed to carry out door-to-door enumeration, including during night hours beginning Thursday, to ensure all eligible citizens are captured. Eligible voters will receive enumeration forms, and BLOs will assist in filling them out at times convenient for households, including as late as midnight if required.
