SIT inspects Sabarimala gold

A special investigation team (SIT) has commenced crucial examinations linked to the Sabarimala gold theft, collecting samples from the gold-plated sheets from the Dwarapalaka idols and the right side of the sreekovil by removing these from their respective positions.
The scientific examinaiton follows a directive from the Kerala High Court, which mandated the team to remove the gold-plated sheets to ascertain if there has been any change in its composition. By allowing the SIT to access these sacred elements, the court has underscored the importance of ensuring a thorough and fair investigation.
