BJP Kerala chief and Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has been named ina petition seeking a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into an alleged 500-crore land scam involving the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) and BPL India Ltd.

The appeal, filed by Delhi High Court advocate KN Jagadesh Kumar, was addressed to Karnataka Commerce and Industries Minister MB Patil and Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, urging a detailed investigation into large-scale irregularities in KIADB land allotments.
