Accuses Harish Rao, Santosh Kumar Of Colluding With Revanth Reddy To Undermine BRS

- MAHESH AVADHUTHA

In a dramatic escalation of internal conflicts within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of party supremo and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), announced her resignation from the party's primary membership and her position as Member of the Legislative Council (MLC).

The move comes just a day after her suspension from the BRS for alleged "anti-party activities," intensifying the crisis in the KCR-led outfit.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Kavitha accused her cousins, senior BRS leaders T Harish Rao (former Irrigation Minister) and J Santosh Kumar (ex-Rajya Sabha MP), of orchestrating a conspiracy to fracture the Kalvakuntla family and weaken the party.

She warned KCR and her brother, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, to "check who they are surrounded by," claiming Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar harbor harmful intentions and are colluding with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of the Congress.
