Japan, MHADA explore avenues for budget hsg

A high-level delegation from the Global Affairs Department of the Urban Renaissance Agency (UR), government of Japan, visited the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) headquarters in Bandra (East) on Monday to explore avenues for collaboration in affordable housing and urban redevelopment.
The delegation, led by Okamura Tomohito, director of the department, was received by Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS), vice president and chief executive officer of MHADA.
The visit marks a significant step towards fostering bilateral cooperation between India and Japan in the field of sustainable urban development. During the meeting, the Japanese delegation reviewed MHADA's wide-ranging initiatives.
