ALLEGATIONS | Hiring process for senior clerks steeped in corruption; VNSGU orders probe
Allegations of a recruitment scam have emerged in the hiring process for senior clerks at the Forest Service College (BRS) under Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) in Surat. Student leader Yuvrajsinh Jadeja has claimed corruption in the process, highlighting that a candidate—allegedly the son of a former corporator—secured a perfect score of 210 out of 210 in the OMR-based examination.
Following these serious allegations, the university has demanded a written explanation from the college and has set up an inquiry committee to investigate the matter.
