NFR successfully Hosts Rozgar Mela Programmes at Guwahati, Dimapur and Siliguri

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) successfully organised Rozgar Melas at Guwahati, Dimapur and Siliguri on 23rd May, 2026 as part of the Government of India’s flagship nationwide employment initiative.

These events, aligned with the Hon'ble Prime Minister’s commitment towards employment generation and youth empowerment, marked another significant step in providing meaningful career opportunities to newly recruited candidates selected for various Central Government departments. In a major initiative towards large-scale employment generation, Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Rozgar Mela programme through video conferencing at 11:00 AM and addressed the newly appointed candidates on the occasion. During the programme, more than 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to selected candidates across the country. Addressing the appointees, the Prime Minister encouraged the youth to dedicate themselves towards nation building and public service while highlighting the Government's continuous efforts towards transparent, merit based and technology driven recruitment processes.
