Kondhwa-Yewalewadi: Residents decry neglect

Residents of Ward No. 40 comprising Kondhwa Budruk, Yewalewadi and Katraj - have raised serious concerns over persistent civic neglect, citing irregular water supply, poor roads, incomplete projects and rampant encroachments as major problems affecting their daily lives.

The newly formed ward, located in a hilly part of the city, suffers from low-pressure water supply even during the monsoon. Locals allege that while most of Pune receives an uninterrupted supply, their area continues to face frequent water cuts and poor distribution.

Ramesh Parlikar, a resident of Katraj, told The Free Press Journal (FPJ), "There is widespread discontent among citizens over the water supply.
