Wanted man shot dead in police encounter in Delhi-Haryana border

Acting on Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's directive to eradicate organised crime, the Haryana Police, in a joint operation with the Delhi Police Special Cell, has gunned down notorious gangster Romil Vohra in an encounter near the Delhi-Haryana border on Tuesday morning.
The operation, which left two police officers injured, underscores the state's aggressive stance against gangsters following CM Saini's orders to give law enforcement a free hand to tackle criminal networks.
