Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership, Uttar Pradesh has built one of the strongest law enforcement records in the country.
Since 2017, the state police—pursuing a strict zero-tolerance policy—have conducted over 14,000 encounters, arresting more than 30,000 criminals and injuring over 9,000 in the leg during operations targeting fugitives and repeat offenders.
