The BJP on Tuesday appointed Nitin Nabin as its new national president, with PM Modi saying he is now a party worker under his leadership.
A new chapter began in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday with the formal announcement of Nitin Nabin as the party's new national president at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
The declaration was made by the party's election officer, Dr K. Laxman, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and outgoing president J.P. Nadda.
Congratulating Nabin on assuming charge, Prime Minister Modi said that from today, Nitin Nabin is his boss and he is a party worker. He underlined that while presidents change in the BJP, its ideals remain constant.
