NDA hails Modi's leadership, Op Sindoor in Parliamentary meet

The NDA Parliamentary Party on Tuesday paid homage to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and commended the Indian Armed forces for their decisive response through Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev in which the three perpetrators of the Pahalgam massacre were killed by security forces in Kashmir last week.

In a strongly-worded resolution passed on Tuesday, they also lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling his actions a "powerful reflection of the nation's resolve."

The resolution comes in the wake of the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where Pakistan-based terror group The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy of Lashkar-e-Taiba, killed 26 tourists in what was described as a "gruesome and barbaric" attack. The resolution noted that the terrorists segregated the victims based on religion before executing them.

Pertinent to mention that Prime Minister Modi, addressing a rally in Bihar's Madhubani on April 24, had vowed to identify and punish the perpetrators and their backers. "India's spirit will never be broken by terrorism," he had said. The resolution states that this vow was transformed into action during the night of May 6-7, when India launched Operation Sindoor.
