Karnataka Minister Rajanna Quits After Voter Fraud Remarks

Karnataka Cooperation Minister K N Rajanna on Monday tendered his resignation to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, with a copy also sent to the Governor's office, sources in the Chief Minister's Office confirmed.
The move follows Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's rally in Bengaluru on Friday, where he reiterated his "vote theft" accusation, alleging collusion between the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the BJP in creating over one lakh "fake votes" in Mahadevapura Assembly Segment, Bengaluru Central, during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to secure a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) victory.
