India hosts SATTE 2026, emerges as global tourism hub with 60+ countries participating

SATTE 2026, India and Asia’s biggest travel expo, kicked off on Wednesday at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, drawing strong participation from across 60 countries representing more than 3,200 brands.
Organised by Informa Market in India, Day 1 of 33rd edition of SATTE, witnessed highenergy buyer - dealer meetings, policyled conversations, and global destination engagement, setting a decisive tone for the threeday exhibition.
The event underscores India’s ambition to position itself as a leading global trip mecca while promoting invention, connectivity, and responsible tourism development.
The Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attended the initial form as the Guest of Honour along with Other crucial dignitaries like Suman Billa IAS, Director General & fresh Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, GOI, Kavinder Gupta, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh; Pasang Dorjee Sona, Minister of Tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh; Anita Mendiratta, Special Advisor to the Secretary General, UN Tourism; Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Chairman, Tourism Malaysia; Dr. Upasna Arora, Chairperson, SEPC; Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India; and Pallavi Mehra, Senior Group Director.
