This recipe combines the traditional flavors of pizza with the goodness of Bajra, making it a healthier alternative to regular wheat-based pizza.

BAJRA PIZZA RECIPE To make the Bajra Pizza, start by preparing the pizza base. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of Bajra flour and 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour (optional for better texture).

In a separate small bowl, activate the yeast by mixing 1 teaspoon of active dry yeast, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, and 1/2 cup of warm water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Once activated, add the yeast mixture to the flour along with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Knead the dough until smooth, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

For the topping, spread 1/2 cup of tomato sauce (or pizza sauce) over the prepared base. Sprinkle 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese and layer with 1 cup of mixed chopped vegetables like bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, olives, and mushrooms. Season with 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs and 1/2 teaspoon of red chili flakes (optional for extra spice).
