The Supreme Court in the case Abhishek Boinpally v. Directorate of Enforcement observed and has granted regular bail to Hyderabad businessman Abhishek Boinpally in the Delhi Liquor Policy case in parity with other accused persons.
-
The petition was mentioned before the court by senior advocate Vikram Chaudhary in order to allow Abhishek Boinpally to travel within the country as against the conditions which are imposed on travel in the interim bail order.
The court in the case stated that the trial Court shall decide the same, but the court clarified that the conditions so far imposed were only for interim bail.
The bench comprising of Justice M.M. Sundresh and Justice Aravind Kumar was hearing the present matter.
The bench was hearing a special leave petition filed by Boinpally against a Delhi High Court judgment of July 2023, wherein the court denied him the bail.
