Constable injured as drunk driver tries to flee

A Delhi Traffic Police constable was injured after being allegedly hit by a car whose driver attempted to flee during a drunken driving check in the Janakpuri area, officials said on Sunday.
The accused, identified as Nilesh Kumar, a resident of Bagdola in Dwarka, has been apprehended and the vehicle involved in the incident has been seized, police said.
