CONGRESS PROMISES ANNUAL ALLOWANCE OF RS 10,000 FOR WOMEN HEADS OF FAMILIES IN RAJASTHAN

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, General Secretary of the Congress party attacked central government and called PM Modi’s policies hollow on Wednesday at a rally in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. She said that their policies are meant to benefit the rich and not the poor.

“Their (Centre’s) schemes are hollow, whereas the schemes of the Congress government (in Rajasthan) are being implemented on the ground,” Gandhi said.

Priyanka also talked about schemes being run by the Gehlot government for the poor and backwards. Priyanka warned the public that if they want these public welfare schemes to continue they should choose the Congress government in the present state elections.

Priyanka promised two “guarantees” if the Congress is re-elected in the state — cooking gas cylinders for Rs 500 to 1.05 crore families and an annual honorarium of Rs 10,000 to the woman head of a family.
