Rajasthan is not only a state of forts and palaces that talk about its rich heritage and culture but also has an eclectic biodiversity, beautiful flora and fauna and is a habitat to several wild life species.

Hadoti, located in southeastern Rajasthan, comprises the districts of Kota, Bundi, Baran, and Jhalawar. Known for its rich cultural heritage, ancient architecture, and vibrant landscapes, the region is crisscrossed by rivers like the Chambal and boasts lush forests and waterfalls, especially during the monsoon. Hadoti is home to several wildlife sanctuaries such as Mukundara Hills, Ramgarh Vishdhari, and Sorsan, making it a haven for nature lovers.
The region also features historical forts, temples, and stepwells, reflecting its royal past. With a blend of natural beauty and cultural significance, Hadoti offers a unique and less-explored experience of Rajasthan.
Chambal-dominated Kota region (Hadoti) of Rajasthan wears an evergreen look during the monsoon season. With its varied wildlife ranging from tiny insects to large mammals, the outdoors become a wild and refreshing treat in this time of year. Tracks meandering through lush green trees, gushing streams, and rocky patches along the Chambal offer moments of pleasure to cherish.
The gurgling music of waterfalls and streams at places like Bhimlat Falls, Rameshwar Falls, Geparnath, Kota Barrage, Guda, Parajhar Mahadev, Gararia Mahadev, Cholia Falls, and Bardha Dam reflect nature's true splendour.
These scenic spots are often thronged by picnickers on Sundays and other holidays.
