Brajmandal Yatra begins in Nuh amid high alert

Amid a heavy police deployment and ban on internet, the annual Brajmandal Jalabhishek Yatra in Haryana's Nuh district commenced peacefully on Monday afternoon.
The yatra began around 12:30 PM from the Nalhareshwar (Nuh) temple, with hundreds of devotees performing Jalabhishek, before moving through Jharneshwar Mahadev Temple in Ferozepur Jhirka and concluding at Shringeshwar Mahadev Temple in Shingar village.
The Haryana government had deployed over 2,500 security personnel in the region, ordered a 24-hour suspension of mobile internet and bulk SMS services, and imposed several other restrictions, including closure of meat shops, diversion of traffic, and surveillance via drones, to ensure the peaceful conduct of the religious procession.
