BHAIRAV ASHTAMI MAHOTSAV 2024: A GRAND CELEBRATION OF PROTECTION, POWER, AND PROSPERITY

Bhairav Ashtami, an auspicious day dedicated to Lord Bhairav, is celebrated by millions as a time for deep spiritual reflection, protection, and prosperity. This festival, marked on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha in the Hindu month of Kartik or Margashirsha, holds a special place in the hearts of devotees. Lord Bhairav, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, is revered for his ability to protect worshippers from evil, provide inner strength, and ensure prosperity.

This year, Bhairav Ashtami will be celebrated with exceptional grandeur at the Bhairav Ashtami Mahotsav, a nine-day festival to be held from November 15 to November 23 in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. Organized by the All India Batuk Bhairav Bhakt Mandal, the event is being led by National Saint Dr. Vasant Vijay Ji Maharaj, the esteemed Peethadhishwar of Parshva Padmavati Shakti Peeth Dham in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The festival is set to be a unique blend of spirituality and cultural vibrancy, drawing participants from 27 states and 12 countries.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF BHAIRAV ASHTAMI

Bhairav Ashtami is celebrated in honor of Lord Bhairav's divine appearance, symbolizing the victory of righteousness and the protection against evil forces. Devotees believe that by worshiping Lord Bhairav, they receive blessings for health, protection, and prosperity. The day is an opportunity for reflection and the renewal of one's spiritual energy, where devotees seek courage to face life's challenges and protection from malevolent energies.
