BENGAL BJP SEES RED AS GOVERNOR LAUDS MAMATA IN ASSEMBLY

The West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party today criticised Governor C. V. Ananda Bose and accused him of “glossing over crucial happenings in the State” during his customary address in the State Assembly.
BJP leaders also took umbrage at the Governor’s lauding the “visionary and dynamic leadership” of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in his speech.
The BJP legislators also tried to disrupt the Governor’s speech for ignoring various issues including any mention of the R G Kar rape and murder along with various lapses on the part of the Mamata Banerjee Government. Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari raised slogans of “R G Kar, R G Kar” during the speech by the Governor.
