24-year-old security guard arrested in Haryana's Panipat for allegedly spying was associated with Pakistan's top intelligence agency the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), reveals the police investigation. The accused, Nauman Ilahi, a resident of Kairana in Uttar Pradesh, is said to have been in touch with a Pakistan-based ISI handler and shared sensitive information.

Ilahi, who worked as a factory guard in Panipat and was earlier posted as a guard in Srinagar, was arrested by the CIA-1 wing of Panipat Police on May 13. His arrest has come amid a high security alert following last month's terror attack in Pahalgam, and days after several other suspected spies were held in neighboring Punjab.
