People want action to curb rising tide of antisocial activities

FEELING safe and protected in our homes and communities is something that we all wish for - long for, even.

The slightest disruption to our day-to-day routines can be unsettling and, depending on the depth of support that people have around them, profoundly damaging.

There is a certain wickedness to petty crime and nuisance behaviour that can throw life as we know it out of kilter, prompting us to alter our own activities as a result.

Antisocial behaviour is one example of this, completely unacceptable to any right thinking citizen, yet increasingly tolerated for all the wrong reasons such as dwindling police resources or a general reluctance to take action for fear of reprisals from those making others' lives a misery.
