SA players don't need Europe to master the basics of the game, writes TAK Bantseke.

While I agree with The Citizen journalist Katlego Modiba that our footballers must compete at the level of European football to develop to higher standards, may I express my views.
Our players may not meet the demands of top European leagues, but our rugby players developed international standards without going to Europe.
Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Ernst Middendorp said high standards of training can be achieved in SA with coaches from Europe.
